Objectives
Lean and Six-Sigma are process and quality improvement methodologies that have been adopted with much success in the Manufacturing industry. They are now being extended into Supply Chain and Logistics industries to cut down operating costs and improve delivery reliability through improving and controlling operating processes.
This module provides insights on the framework of Lean and Six-Sigma, and how they can be adopted into the Supply Chain and Logistics operations.
Participants also enrol for Lean Six-Sigma in Logistics II (Yellow Belt equivalent) & Lean Six-Sigma in Logistics III (Green Belt equivalent).

Kartara Junus currently works as General Manager of Logistics in Sankyu Singapore, a leading Japanese Logistics company. He has been working with this Japanese organisation for more than 25 years. Junus has been a driver of Kaizen and Lean Operations both within the company and externally.
