John Iversen has worked over many years in shipping and logistics in the private sector and is currently the Corporate Manager Special Projects – Asia for an MNC C.H. Robinson Project Logistics Pte Ltd.
He started his career with Maerskline where he worked for ten years, getting to know the shipping world from a ship owner’s perspective. After that he joined an international forwarding company, then for ten years he ran his own freight forwarding company in Singapore.
For the past 20 years John Iversen has been involved in project shipping and is currently assisting the company’s offices in China develop project shipping. He has worked on logistics solutions for companies like Keppel FELS, EMAS, Veolia, Technics Offshore and various overseas enterprises.John Iversen currently does inter-company training in Singapore, Malaysia and China. He has been on the council for SLA for many years and is currently the chairman for the sea freight committee. He also sits on the committee of the Danish Business Association in Singapore.
