Overview
The rapid changes in business practices, increased globalization, technological (IT) advances, and increased expectations by top management are forcing purchasing professionals to take a more proactive approach in the ways purchasing functions and responsibilities are been managed today. Lecturer
Dr Ong Geok Quee is the Senior Consultant of LAWSON Consulting Services. He holds a Doctorate Degree of Philosophy in Business Administration majoring in Materials and Supply Chain Management. A Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply – UK; CIPS Congress Member of APAC Constituency; Member of the Institute of Supply Management – USA; Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators; Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology—UK; a Chartered Marine Technologist—UK; and Singapore State Courts Mediator and Panel of Coachers of the Singapore Mediation Centre.
Duration
3 days (9am – 6pm), 22.5 training hours and 1.5 hours written examinations as well as 6 hours off class course / project works with a total of 30 hours.
Certification
At the end of the course participants who have fulfilled at least 75 per cent attendance and passed the written examination shall be awarded the Certificate of Proficiency (Certificate of Achievement).
