Objectives
The logistics industry is increasingly vulnerable to cyber security attacks, with incidents of ransomware, phishing, and malicious command and control servers on the rise. SMEs in the logistics industry are particularly vulnerable due to sheer volume of data transacted, their limited resources and reliance on interconnected systems.
According to the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), there has been a significant rise in Key Malicious Cyber Activities targeting Singapore-based companies in 2021 compared to 2020.
– 54% increase in ransomware incidents to 137 incidents
– 17% increase in phishing incidents to 55,000 incidents
– 320% increase in Malicious Command and Control Servers incidents to 3,300
In collaboration with TOFFs Technologies, this one-day course is designed for Executives/Managers in the logistics industry to provide them with a basic understanding of the current cyber security and data protection landscape in Singapore. It will cover the risks and impacts of digital threats on logistics businesses, strategies for protecting businesses, and an overview of the regulatory framework in Singapore.

Lecturer
Jason Kong is the Co-Founder of TOFFS and is responsible for the Technology and Product Development of TOFFS Technologies. Jason has a deep interest in providing innovative solutions to counter DNS Poisoning and DDoS application attacks to ensure the end users have a rich gaming experience In his previous careers.
In his previous roles, Jason Kong was the Deputy Director of the Singapore Government Tech Office subsidiary to operate the Singapore National Authentication Framework (NAF) for Singapore. Jason was also previously Head of HiTech and Commerce industry for Akamai Technologies in SE Asia and worked as Senior Software Specialist in IBM and Business Service Automation Lead in HP in his early careers. He has a Business degree and a Post-Graduate of IT from National University of Singapore.
Christopher Lim is the Founder and Managing Director of SkyBridge.Sg Pte Ltd. As a seasoned expert with more than 25 years of experience in Technology Entrepreneurship, Academia, and Corporate Leadership, Christopher brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. He has previously held leadership positions, including Regional GM for Marmon Foodservice Technologies, where he managed 16 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, he has lectured at Temasek Polytechnic’s School of Business for four years.
He is a firm believer in continuous learning, and as such, he holds a Masters Degree in Innovation from Singapore Management University (SMU), where he received Dean’s List Honours. Furthermore, he has authored two books on Product Innovation and Managing SMEs that are used in tertiary education.
